Access to Translations for Elluminate Live! Manager Administrators

  1. Click on the links below to download the language packs for your server:
  2. Once a language pack has been added into an Elluminate Live! server installation, access to the new translated interface is controlled by the region setting on your computer. See  “How to Set Your Region on Your Computer”

How to Set Your Region on Your Computer

You can change your region setting on your computer.

For example, to view the Spanish interface on Windows XP, you can change your language options to Spanish using the following steps:

  • Open your Control Panel
  • Select Regional and Language Options
  • Select Spanish from the drop-down list

Note:  Other operating systems will have similar ways to change language settings. See your operating system's user manual for more information on its language settings.

You are now ready to launch into the Elluminate Live! session. If your session has language localization enabled, menus and dialog boxes will be in Spanish.  This does not include the whiteboard or chat window.

Access to Translations for SAS Users

Access to the available translated interface is controlled by the region setting on your computer.    See the above section on “How to Set Your Region on Your Computer”.

Creating Translated Session Labels in SAS (optional)

If everyone in the Elluminate Live! session will be using one of the translated languages, for example Spanish, consider creating a "Spanish" label set so that the words "Session", "Chair", "Non-Chair" and "Break Out" appear in Spanish rather than English.

These translated labels will apply to all users in the room - even those with the English interface. For this reason, if most participants will be using the English interface, do not change these labels.

Please take a look at SAS Creating Labels to see how you can change your session labels in the SAS.
