That means instructors can schedule and deliver classes using Elluminate Live! our Internet-based, real-time, multi-platform eLearning tool that includes superior voice over the Internet, video, shared whiteboards, text messaging, breakout rooms, application sharing, PowerPoint import, and more.

Elluminate Bridge features include:

  • Building Block that provides seamless access allowing users to access sessions and recordings from within Blackboard without need for second login
  • Administration settings include ability to:
    • Enable Building Block for all or specific courses
    • Allow instructors and other specified user roles to create Elluminate Live sessions
  • Session settings allow instructors to:
    • Designate sessions with specific moderators, allow student moderators, or allow all to connect as a moderator
    • Define participant permissions for session
    • Restrict session access to particular course, share session among selected courses, or make session publicly available to students in all courses
  • Sessions and recordings can be created and listed as content objects in Course Information or Assignments
