For Florida Virtual School (FLVS), using Elluminate Live! represents an instructional means for recreating the classroom and all of its interactions between students and teachers. For example, teachers are able to seamlessly engage their Advanced Placement English students in a virtual Socratic cafe where questions and discussion flow freely. As a Center of Excellence, FLVS provides unlimited access to the Elluminate virtual classroom, facilitating student group projects, guest lectures, career planning sessions, and teacher professional development.
