At Argyll Centre, Elluminate Live! is used as an integral communication tool to motivate, animate, support and inform students, staff, and parents with the ultimate goal of student achievement. Now fully integrated into the organization's teaching and learning community, Elluminate Live! technology is used by students in grades 1 through 12.

Elluminate Live! contributes to student achievement at Argyll Centre by supporting:

• The building of an online learning and teaching community
• The development of best online pedagogical practice by nurturing student social presence
• A student constructivist learning environment by facilitating collaboration and the building of student learning objects and learning spaces
• Learning in many modalities, with many users engaged at once and in different rooms
• The storing of learning objects and knowledge management information for student retrieval at a later time
• Authentic assessment of student work through the building and sharing of e-portfolios
• Student vicarious learning by viewing other student work
