Desire2Learn and Elluminate announce plans to integrate Elluminate Live!® online conferencing software with the Desire2Learn Learning Environment.

Kitchener-Waterloo, Ontario, (October 4, 2006) — Desire2Learn Inc., a world-leading provider of mission-critical enterprise eLearning systems, and Elluminate, Inc., a leading provider of live eLearning and web collaboration software, have today announced a partnership to integrate Elluminate Live! with the Desire2Learn Learning Environment.

The partnership was established to open the door to integrate the feature-rich Elluminate synchronous communication tool with the popular Desire2Learn Learning Environment. The objective of this partnership will be to develop a seamless integration between the two products that will allow users to make full use of Elluminate Live! directly from the Desire2Learn environment.
