That means instructors can schedule and deliver classes using Elluminate Live! our Internet-based, real-time, multi-platform eLearning tool
that includes superior voice over the Internet, video, shared whiteboards,
text messaging, breakout rooms, application sharing, PowerPoint import, and more.
And participants can launch a synchronous session or recording using Elluminate Live! directly from the Blackboard Learning System - Enterprise for a great user
experience every time—regardless of connection speed.
Features and System Interfaces
Elluminate Bridge features include:
- A Building Block which provides seamless access allowing users to access sessions and recordings from within Blackboard without the need for a second login
- Administration settings include the ability to:
- Enable the Building Block for all or certain courses
- Allow instructors and other specified user roles to create Elluminate Live sessions
- Session settings allow instructors to:
- Designate sessions with specific moderators, allow student moderators or allow all to connect as a moderator
- Define participant permissions for a session
- Restrict session access to a particular course or share the session among selected courses or make the session publicly available to students in all courses
- Sessions and recordings can be created and listed as content objects in the Course Information or Assignments
