The audio conferencing is vendor neutral allowing customers to use their own audio conference provider or utilize Elluminate’s audio conferencing services. Steps for Using Teleconference Integration in Elluminate Live!
Tips and Best Practices for using Teleconference Integration
- Use the same session etiquette to manage participant interaction whether participants are on VoIP or Telephony or a mix of both. This will facilitate better communication and will let you know who on the teleconference is speaking.
- Mute teleconference users during the presentation to avoid interruptions and the broadcast of unwanted audio into the Elluminate session.
- Remind participants on the teleconference to mute their lines to prevent unwanted audio from being broadcast over the teleconference.
- As a best practice, use the Moderator PIN in the Elluminate Session Information field of the Teleconference Connection dialogue box. This will eliminate the need for a Moderator in the teleconference and stops the music.
