Instructions for ASP Customers using Translations
Configuring your sessions using the SAS (Session Administration System)

Please contact support@elluminate.com and ask for the "International Server" to be added to your account. After this is done, you will be able to create sessions on the International server whenever you think a participant might want to see the Elluminate Live! user interface in a language other than English.

Scheduling a Session
When creating a session, simply choose the international version of Elluminate Live! to be used with your language pack (e.g., 8.0 ACADEMIC SSL INT, 7.0 ENTERPRISE SSL INT, etc.).

Creating Translated Session Labels (optional)
If everyone in the Elluminate Live! session will be using one of the translated languages, for example Spanish, consider creating a "Spanish" label set so that the words "Session", "Chair", "Non-Chair" and "Break Out" appear in Spanish rather than English.

These translated labels will apply to all users in the room — even those with the English interface. For this reason, if most participants will be using the English interface, do not change these labels.

Here is how you can create "Spanish" labels in the SAS:
  1. Log in to the SAS as a Manager.
  2. From the Utilities tab, click on the Label Types icon under Advanced Settings Management.
  3. Click on New.
  4. Enter a name for your new label set (e.g., Spanish) and enter a description of the new label set.
  5. Enter lower case and upper (title) case versions of both singular and plural forms of the labels, as in the example below:
    • Session S/LC: clase
    • Session S/UC: Clase
    • Session P/LC: clases
    • Session P/UC: Clases
    • Chair S/LC: moderador
    • Chair S/UC: Moderador
    • Chair P/LC: moderadores
    • Chair P/UC: Moderadores
    • Non-Chair S/LC: participante
    • Non-Chair S/UC: Participante
    • Non-Chair P/LC: participantes
    • Non-Chair P/UC: Participantes
    • break out S/LC: break out
    • Break Out S/UC: Break Out
    • break outs P/LC: break outs
    • Break Outs P/UC: Break Outs
Then, when scheduling the meeting, you can select this label type from the available drop-down menu.
