Gathering Your Proxy information

For users behind firewalls, you can increase the chances of connecting to Elluminate Live! by configuring your Proxy settings. Both Java Web Start and Elluminate Live! should pick up these settings, though there are occurrences where this does not happen automatically and you may need to manually configure to access a session.

The first step is to gather your Proxy information. This can be done on your computer by looking in Internet Explorer under Tools → Internet Options → Connections (or on Mac, in the System Preferences). If this information is not present, then your system administrator will need to provide the proxy address and port. When gathered, then you may need to place that information in both Java Web Start and the Elluminate Live! session.
