Using Application Sharing on Windows Vista
One of the best ways to collaborate in an Elluminate Live! session is by using Application Sharing. This feature allows moderators and participants to share any application, a specific region of the desktop, or their entire desktop with other participants. If you are using Windows Vista and Application Sharing in a session, the attendees may notice the rate that they are receiving your shared content is slower than expected. This is likely due to using Aero desktop graphics on Vista. To optimize Application Sharing, set your display settings to “Adjust for best performance”. To find more information on how to do this, please go to Elluminate's Support Portal and search for "vista application sharing". The article returned from this search is "Why is application sharing very slow on my Windows Vista based computer?" It will provide detailed instructions on how to optimize Application Sharing.
