Computer consultant, teacher, and entrepreneur Terry Large believes that technology is not being used to its full advantage in our schools today. Consequently, when he first saw Elluminate Live! in action, he immediately saw the potential of the live eLearning and web collaboration environment. Then on a routine visit to the Elluminate website, Terry, who is currently looking for full-time employment, noticed vRoom.

“I was contacted by a hiring manager at a local Fort Lauderdale company who wanted me to interview with someone in Minnesota,” explains Terry. “Rather than just talk over the phone, I set up a vRoom session and dazzled the interviewer with examples of my distance learning lessons. I even took control of her computer to demonstrate how I could provide remote assistance for a student.”

vRoom put Terry in control of the interview and enabled him to engage the interviewer, share his work, and demonstrate his skills in a way that helped him stand out from the other applicants. “Setting up Windows Remote would have been a cumbersome task,” he says. “With vRoom, all I had to do was send the interviewer the link to my room for single-click access. With just a resume and phone call, I would not have been able to make such a positive impression.”
